This Willow Tree Grandfather piece has been cast from the original wooden sculpture designed by Susan Lord and then painted by hand. The Grandfather piece is of a Grandfather sitting down on a low stool and the feeling this piece gives is that his little grandchild has climbed up and is keeping itself upright by holding onto one of his knees. One of the grandfather's hands is protectively holding the little one's back. The grandfather's head is lovingly looking down at his grandchild's little hand in his other hand. This piece is then securely packaged within foam and a willow tree gift box.
