Simply fill up the hydro globe 2/3 full with water, then create a hole in your soil then place in your hydro globe. The hydro globe will then cleverly water the plant or flowers on demand. If the soil is very dry when you first use your hydro globe just keep an eye on the water level as the water being drawn is what the plant or flowers require.
