Piccolo Galileo Thermometer 28cm

The Piccolo indoor Galileo Thermometer stands at 28cm tall. A beautiful thermometer with multi coloured temperature reading balls.

Contains 5 internal temperature globes with temperature reading Tags which are gold coloured and read temperatures between 18-26C.

History of the Galileo

The physicist Galilio Galilei (1564-1642) discovered that density of liquid changes according to temperature. This principle is used within the Galileo Thermometer, Depending on the temperature, the glass bulbs in the thermometer either rise or fall. The actual temperature is shown by the lowest of the upper floating glass coloured bulbs.

These Piccolo Galileo's are top quality and not to be confused with cheaper imitations. Made from blown glass in Germany they really do make a perfect gift that will be admired- certainly not another dust collector.

i thiughtn the product was as i'd expected it to be with only one slight disappointment i thought the liquid inside should have been more to the top of the glass although when i looked at the photo on the box it appeared to be as it should be - i would also add that o thought your service ie communications & delivery etc were excellent & would recommend this website to my firends - thanks

ELEGANT AND COLOURFUL
An elegant and colourful addition to any room. It provides both a talking point and has a timeless quality which modern thermometers do not have. Buy one you won't be disappointed. One word of warning, they are very fragile, my first one only managed a month before being knocked over and broken.
