Charades Board Game Description
Charades is that 16th century aged old french game which continues to create countless hours of fun!
If you don't know how to play charades the rules are simple whatever the word on the card has to be acted out in pantomime for the fellow team players to guess, without uttering a word. Simply roll the die to select one of six titles to be acted out. If your team-mates guess correct titles in less time than their opposing team guesses their titles you've won the game. Within the game are hundreds of names and titles.
The six categories are as follows with examples of possible words for acting out:-
- Films - Gladiator
- Catchphrases - Too good to be true
- Hit songs - Man, I feel like a woman
- Plays - Lion King
- Best sellers - Memoirs of a Geisha
- Television - Cold Feet
There are also hints and tips on sign language to help you explain without actually speaking for example Sounds like, small word, cut word shorter, correct and add an s (plural).
