Most Orangutans are now found in the South East Asian Islands - Borneo and Sumatra, both of which are now classed as being endangered. Plantations and logging are opening up areas that were previously in accessible to poachers as well as removing the natural habitat of the Orangutan. The Orangutan Foundation's Care Centre in Southern Borneo take in orphans for the love, care and often treatment they need to slowly build knowledge of essential survival skills.
